The Education Celebration Award
Nominate an inspiring educator and their school to win!
The Oregon College Savings Plan salutes the many educators in our state who help shape the future minds of our children. If you know an educator who has motivated and inspired children to be better students, tell us in 250 words or less why that educator should be recognized with the Oregon College Savings Plan’s Education Celebration Award.
Educators who are nominated could win a $1,500 cash prize for themselves plus $5,000 for their school.
Who: Anyone in the Oregon K-12 educational system can be nominated. For example, principals, teachers, counselors, librarians and school staff are all eligible to win. Nominations may come from parents, students, administrators or anyone who has the opportunity to observe an effective educator in action.
When: Three winners will be selected among all the nominations over the course of the 2011-2012 school year. Nominations for the fall term must be received by December 1, 2011. Nominations for the winter term must be received by March 1, 2012 and nominations for the spring term must be received by May 15, 2012.
